Anything Goes Cheery Lynn Design Challenge

I created this layout for my niece MJ to remember her beloved Jaggar.  Used a variety of techniques and of course tried out a few of my Cheery Lynn Dies!  I used a few Shasta Daisies, their great clock die, a few medium sized roses, the vintage gear hearts (love all to heir gear like products) and of course a flourish! My collection of dies continues to grow!

Growth

I really wanted to scrap this series of pictures taken this past fall.  Lots of misting, inking and playing with colors, stencils, some stamping and I made several of the flowers! And used a few of my die cuts!

The younger past...

I have been wanting to do a layout of my husband and our daughter (now 8 yrs old) when she was young.  He took paternity leave and they spent lots of time out at the family farm!   Both are sitting where Rudy's father often occupies his time watching the stalk markets when the bugs are too bad to even go outside as they are on the river front!  Lots of bugs!

Wonderful! Keeping it Krafty with CLD!

I so love this picture that my sister took of my daughter and set out to do a layout that's background was made up glimmer mists and alcohol inks to enhance a distressed look.  The hinges and flourishes and roses from Cheery Lynn Design were perfect accents!

Wonderful!

I really wanted to use my stamps to fill my page - you know be the focal point and help make the picture pop!  I think it was a success!  Still learning!

Moments

My sister shared a few pictures of her daughter and their beloved golden retriever and instantly I knew I wanted to do a layout!  I played with some colors and let the page take on its own life!  Love my Maja Design paper and the various Cheery Lynn Design die cuts (clock, flourish, Shasta daisies, small roses which I am still learning to make and need more practice, and the two steampunk hearts). My sister loves it and she thinks it is a wonderful gift for her daughter  when dear old Jaggar is only bit wonderful memories.

Beautiful Bling and Things!

I was very excited to try some new techniques like texturizing with stencils and some layering of paper with some distressing!  I am really enjoying developing my creative side.  Of course I have help from from being inspired by design teams!  I created this page at a scrapbook retreat I recently attended.  My scrap pal gals tell me I am finding my style!  I had to use to use my new butterfly CLD dies and threw in a few hinges which have been added to my favourites collection!  I used the Tiny Things with Wings - B266; Doilies & exotic Dies DL112AB; and Hinges (set of 8) B399.  I knew adding some bling would bring the page some subtle "popping"!  And I couldn't wait to use one of my heart pins!  Isn't it gorgeous!!!!  Hope you like my page!

Pretty Purple!

I continue to enjoy my die cuts from Cheery Lynn Designs!  I have been following a former designer and decided to try her technique!  My CLD flourish and frame really complemented the lay-out!  This was a fun project!

Springtime!

This is my daughter's first scrapbook page!  She took my Cheery Lynn Design die cuts one afternoon, her paper she got for Christmas and started cutting (after I gave her a quick lesson on how to cut!).  We then took a break and today she assembled her page!  She started with a blank white card stock and learned how to use my glimmer mists and then glued down her die cuts.  We cut some letters with the Cricut once she figured out her title!  Lots of great spring ideas!  There was no telling her how to create her flowers - she did it all her own!  We used a bunch of CLD dies!
By the way - Kaelyn is the blondie!

A little pink to pretty it up!

I love the hints of pink in this card - I wanted to "pretty" it!  I am new to CLD die cuts and love them but only have a few dies so far!  Looking forward to receiving my order! In the meantime I am pleased to share my creation using the few die cuts I have!  Love the ivy leaf strips and this flourish die cut will be a favorite for years to come!

Loving Cheery Lynn Designs!

Hi - I created this new year design using one of my favorite die cuts from Cheery Lynn Designs!  I am fairly new to scrapping and learning new techniques all the time!  Would be fantastic to win the Ebosser!  Good luck to all who have entered! Hope you like my design!

Well this is a first - blogging that is!  I'm somewhat challenged with the technology and process of blogging - so please be patient with me!  Thanks!
